Life Groups are small groups that make up the backbone of our church ministry. It is a time of people gathering together to live life, develop relationships, encourage, exhort, edify and develop accountability with one another.
At Lifegate, we encourage a community model of Life Group ministry. “Community” means taking what you like to do, finding others with the same common interest and then, share life together.
In other words, if you like to do something, just take it and do it with Lifegate. If you like to grill steaks, join a backyard bar-b-que Life Group. If you like to read and discuss the Word of God, join a Bible study Life Group. If you like to be creative, join a scrap-booking Life Group. If you like to pray, join a prayer Life Group. The possibilities are endless.
As we begin this life-giving approach to Life Groups, we create an atmosphere and culture for those outside the church and within the church, the opportunity to develop relationships naturally. And these relationships then open the door to fellowship, discipleship, and even evangelism in ways that our celebration services simply can’t.
